Privacy Policy
Recurry helps you keep track of the subscriptions you pay for. This policy explains exactly what data the app handles, where it goes, and what never leaves your device. The short version: your account and the subscription entries you type in are stored in your private account; there are no ads, no analytics, and no tracking of any kind.
Data you give us
- Account details. When you create an account we store your email address, and — if you provide one, or sign in with Apple or Google — your name. Accounts are managed by our backend provider, Supabase, which stores this data on our behalf. Your password is never visible to us; if you use Sign in with Apple or Google, we never see a password at all.
- Your subscription entries. The services you track — name, price, currency, billing cycle, renewal date, category, and any notes you add. These are stored in your private account so they follow you across devices, and are visible only to you.
What stays on your device
- Renewal reminders are local notifications, scheduled entirely on your iPhone. Nothing about them is sent to any server.
- Calendar sync (a Premium feature) is optional and only ever started by you. Recurry writes its own renewal events to Apple Calendar on your device and never reads, collects, or uploads your other calendar events.
- An offline copy of your subscription list is kept on the device so the app works without a connection.
Brand logos
When a subscription matches a known service, Recurry can show that service's logo. Logos are fetched at display time from Logo.dev. Like any web request, Logo.dev's servers see the request — the service domain being asked for and your device's IP address. None of your account or subscription data is included, and fetched logos are cached on the device so repeat requests are rare.
What we don't do
- No advertising, no analytics, and no tracking — the app contains no third-party ad or analytics code.
- We never sell, rent, or share your data with anyone.
- Recurry never connects to your bank or payment accounts; it only knows what you type in.
Payments
Recurry Premium is a one-time purchase made through the Apple App Store. The purchase is processed entirely by Apple — we never see your payment details.
Deleting your data
You can delete your account at any time from Settings → Delete account inside the app. This permanently erases your account and every subscription record in it from our backend. It does not cancel the underlying subscriptions with the services themselves, and App Store purchases are governed by Apple.
Security
Data travels between the app and the backend over encrypted connections (HTTPS), and your session credentials are stored in the iOS Keychain on your device.
Changes
If this policy changes, the updated version will be published at this address with a new effective date.
